“Every year In May” is the David and Goliath story of Chief Johnnie Bobb of the Western Shoshone Nation and his annual walk across the Nevada desert to stand up to the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Weapons Industry at the Main Gate of the Nevada Test Site, renamed the Nevada National Security Site located on disputed Western Shoshone Treaty Lands. He challenges the U.S. Government to end all Nuclear Weapons Testing and stop the proposed Nuclear Waste Repository at Yucca Mountain. He is arrested for trespassing there each year on Mothers Day.
